Which shipping options are available at Sky Systems?
We offer standard and express shipping options depending on the destination, order weight and selected shipping method. The available shipping methods and final shipping price are shown during checkout.
Free shipping: Standard shipping is free for orders from €500.00 and up. Express shipping is excluded from free shipping.
DDP shipping: Standard shipping is shipped DDP for Asia, North America, Oceania, and South America & Central America. For Austria and EU / Europe, the available shipping method is shown during checkout.
Please note: DHL Express shipping does not include DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). For DHL Express shipments, import duties, taxes and customs fees at the destination country are not included in the shipping price and remain the responsibility of the recipient.

Shipping Outside the EU
For shipments outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other local charges may apply depending on the destination country and local customs regulations.
Because Sky Systems ships from multiple fulfillment locations, we may be able to offer DDP shipping for selected destinations. DDP means that import duties and taxes are included in the shipping arrangement where available.
In some cases, DDP shipping may not be available. In these cases, orders may be shipped under DAP — Delivered At Place. Under DAP, the shipment is delivered to the destination address, but the customer or recipient is responsible for import customs clearance, duties, taxes and any local charges requested by the carrier or customs authority.
Customs charges and import procedures vary from country to country. Sky Systems has no control over these charges or delays caused by customs clearance. Please contact your local customs office for more information before placing an order if you are unsure.
We cannot take responsibility for delivery delays, failed delivery attempts or additional costs caused by customs procedures, incorrect address information, local import restrictions, or circumstances outside the courier's control.
Please note: The listed delivery times refer only to the courier transit time after the goods are ready for dispatch. They do not include production time, preparation time, restocking time or custom-made order handling time. Depending on the order, goods may need to be produced, prepared or collected from stock before shipping.
A tracking number is provided for shipments. Shipping times are estimates and may vary depending on the carrier, customs clearance, destination country, public holidays and other circumstances outside our control.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times depend on the destination and selected shipping method. The times shown in the shipping table refer to the courier transit time only — they do not include order preparation, production, or dispatch time.
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days. For custom or made-to-order items, additional preparation time may apply. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. You can use this number to track your shipment directly on the carrier's website or via our Track Order page.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for items in their original, unused condition and original packaging. To initiate a return, please contact us via our Contact page with your order number and reason for return.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged or incorrect. Custom-made or personalised orders cannot be returned unless defective.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, a refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery via our Contact page. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the item and packaging. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible at no additional cost to you.
Orders & Payment Methods
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- PayPal
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Bank transfer (available for B2B / wholesale orders)
All transactions are processed securely. Sky Systems does not store your payment details.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We process orders quickly, so changes or cancellations may not always be possible. If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible via our Contact page. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled — please refer to our return policy in that case.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. After placing your order you will receive a confirmation email at the address provided during checkout. If you do not receive it within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot find it, contact us and we will resend it.
Do you offer invoices for business orders?
Yes. A VAT invoice is automatically included with every order. For B2B or wholesale customers requiring specific invoice formatting or purchase order references, please contact us before placing your order via our B2B / Wholesale page.
Is it safe to pay on your website?
Yes. Our store uses SSL encryption and all payments are processed through Shopify's secure, PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. Your payment details are never stored on our servers.
Gift Cards & Voucher Codes
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, Sky Systems offers digital gift cards that can be used for any purchase in our store. Gift cards are delivered by email and can be used at checkout. They do not expire and can be used in full or across multiple orders.
How do I redeem a voucher code or gift card?
At checkout, you will find a field labelled "Gift card or discount code". Enter your code there and click "Apply". The discount will be reflected in your order total before payment.
Only one discount code can be applied per order. Gift cards and discount codes cannot be combined unless specifically stated in a promotion.
My voucher code is not working — what should I do?
Please check the following before contacting us:
- Make sure there are no extra spaces when entering the code
- Check that the code has not expired
- Confirm that the items in your cart qualify for the discount
- Ensure the minimum order value requirement (if any) has been met
If the code still does not work, please contact us via our Contact page and we will assist you.
Can I use a gift card to purchase another gift card?
No. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. They can be used on all other products in the Sky Systems store.

Are product samples available?
For B2B customers interested in evaluating our products before placing a larger order, sample requests may be available. Please contact us via our Contact page or B2B page to discuss your requirements.
How are products measured and packaged?
Cords and threads are typically sold by length (meters or spools) or by weight. Findings, clasps, and spacers are usually sold in packs or by quantity. Full product specifications including dimensions, material composition, and packaging details are listed on each individual product page.
Can I request a product that is out of stock or not listed?
Yes. If you are looking for a specific product that is currently out of stock or not listed in our store, please contact us. We regularly update our inventory and may be able to source or restock the item for you — especially for B2B customers with ongoing needs.
